The EcoOperator Advanced training is an advanced course for already-experienced operators, with a primary focus on efficiency. The program helps operators be more productive, while reducing fuel consumption, machine wear and tear, and unplanned downtime – for a more profitable and environmentally caring operation.

The EcoOperator Advanced training program covers a broad range of areas where the operator can affect the outcome of your operation. The Volvo instructor works closely with operators to enhance their knowledge and give them the skills to deliver the best possible performance.
The EcoOperator Advanced training is intended for experienced operators with at least three years of experience.
Data analysis
The instructor performs an initial machine data analysis, to identify opportunities for improvement.
Site visit
To gather more information and complete the assessment phase, a site visit is organised. This includes machine inspection as well as assessments of operating practices and site conditions.
Theory
Operators complete a theoretical training to gain in-depth knowledge of best practices, including both operating techniques and overall efficiency. Our instructors work with the latest training tools to deliver long-term sustained improvements.
Practice
Operators get “hands-on”, applying the techniques previously learned. This can be completed with ready-to-use practical exercises, or during the operator's daily work, coached by the instructor.
Follow up
A few months later, a new machine data analysis is performed. A summary of the results is provided along with recommendations for any further improvements.
