Volvo
Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) is bolstering its dealer network in India with
the appointment of Ramanand Power Systems Pvt. Ltd., which will be responsible
for selling and supporting Volvo CE’s full range of equipment in Telangana.
“There
is high demand for construction equipment due to the Telangana government’s heavy
investment in infrastructure, mining, irrigation and road construction
projects,” said Dimitrov Krishnan, vice president and head of Volvo CE, Hub
India. “The appointment of Ramanand Power Systems strengthens our position in
the region and ensures customers are receiving the excellent sales and
aftermarket sales support that is synonymous with Volvo CE.”
Telangana
is one of India’s youngest states but it’s growing rapidly. In the fiscal 2018
year, the state saw record revenue growth of 21.96%, according to the Times of India. The
Telangana government plans to install 130,000 km of drinking water pipeline,
irrigate 10 million acres of land and connect every household to the internet.
The state is also rich in mineral resources such as limestone, granite, iron
ore and is home to 20% of India’s coal deposits.
Established
in 2019, Ramanand Power Systems is headquartered in Hyderabad. The leadership
team includes directors Anand K. Anumolu and Rama Rao A.S.. Combined the duo
has more than 50 years of experience in various industries ranging from real
estate , automotive , construction equipment and information technology.
