4200 was an articulated wheel loader with power shift transmission, rugged axles with planetary hub reductions and a dual brake system with drum brakes.
A pressurized, ROPS-approved, cab with effective integrated heating and air condition and large replaceble filters together with the controls within easy reach provided the operator with a good and effective place to work.
The parallel linkage arm system featured high breakout moment in the top position while retaining power in all other positions combined with extremely good parallel movement. The disign of the arm system also afforded the operator excellent forward visibility.
The 4200 was also available as a "module version", where the entire linkage system could be removed and replaced with e.g. a complete forklift assembly, sand spreader, snow blower, brush saw etc.
