Champion – Series VI
Series VI motor graders were introduced in November of 1999. The scope of change from Series V machines was quite large and included a focus on customer needs.
Customer demands for a more reliable and productive AWD system were met through the introduction of a totally redesigned AWD system, the world's most powerful as used on models 716A VHP, 726A VHP and 736A VHP.
Numerous changes were made to the blade control system to provide the best blade mobility in the industry.
Cab improvements included:
• new heating, ventilation and air conditioning system
• new stereo system
• new steps with rubber sides
• a new optional hydraulic manifold cover
The hydraulic manifold valves were improved, enabling better featherability and consistency of operation.
A redesigned front frame was introduced. This new frame was made with fewer components, was stronger and made narrower with taller side sections to increase strength while improving forward visibility.
