The Ingersoll Rand MT-2000 was a four-track, front-load, half-lane milling machine powered by a Tier 3 Cummins engine.
The MT-2000 had three distinct drum cutting speeds, an industry first. The deep-cut power bulge feature provided higher torque at a lower engine rpm to power through tough material or deep cut applications. The high speed selection was available for maximum speed on shallow cutting depths. The standard cutting speed was used to provide maximum horsepower and efficiency at normal cutting depths.
The MT-2000 could run both 2000 mm and 2185 mm drums. To reduce drum changing time and complexity, the drum and drum housing could easily be removed together for interchange. The drums were available with weld-on or quick change tooth holders and fine or standard tooth spacing patterns. Specialty drums were available on request.
