Backhoe Loaders, Excavator Loaders – Volvo BM old models

The high capacity excavator loader Volvo BM 616 saw the light of day in 1974. It was built on the Volvo BM well tested loader and industrial tractor chassies. The backhoe unit was designed for the tough Scandinavian ground conditions.

In 1977 a four-wheel drive version, the 646, was presented.
