The Volvo BM 861 6x4 was equipped with an in-line direct-injected 6-cylinder engine. The BM 861 6x4 was built with capacity for high production on difficult terrain. Six large wheels and axles with individual freedom of movement provided extraordinary bearing capacity and 4-wheel drive. The BM 861 6x4 had two main chassis desgned and manufactured with the most advanced technology.
