Articulated Haulers – BM-Volvo old models

Proof of the pioneering spirit at AB Bolinder-Munktell could be found in the first articulated hauler, which appeared in 1966 under the BM-Volvo brand.

In 1968, a new, bigger model was introduced, the legendary DR 860, a machine that would take the articulated hauler concept to virtually all parts of the world. The DR 860 was another pioneering model – a three-axle 15-tonne model featuring a boogie of an entirely new, ingenious design.
