Volvo Construction Equipment’s 2,916m2 stand at INTERMAT (located in hall 6) will showcase the company’s very latest additions to the excavator, wheel loader and compact equipment product ranges – including the EC220E, EW160E and L90H. Divided by customer segment – road construction, building and utilities, quarry and aggregates – the machines demonstrate Volvo’s capabilities across a wide variety of applications in the construction industry. Outside visitors to INTERMAT will even be able to see some of these models in action in Volvo’s ever-popular machine show which will be the main highlight of Volvo’s outdoor booth just a few minutes’ walk from the indoor stand. Productive, fuel efficient and easier to operate and maintain, these machines will no doubt establish the Volvo exhibit as one of the major highlights of the event. There will also be an Operator’s
Lounge run by the Volvo Operators Club that has more than 12,000 members right across Europe. The lounge will play an important networking platform for operators and other visitors.
But it’s not just about the machines. Volvo’s knowledgeable and experienced staff will be on hand to explain all the ways Volvo dealers are supporting customers to improve productivity, maximize machine uptime, reduce risk and help them take greater control of costs. Inside and out the latest models will be supported by a range of customer solutions, delivering genuine customer benefits. These include Customer Support Agreements, Attachments, Genuine Volvo Parts, Volvo Certified Rebuild, Volvo Approved Used equipment and Volvo Financial Services.
The Volvo stand will also play host to the futuristic GaiaX in its first European outing. This concept compact excavator, imagined for the year 2030, is envisaged to be fully electric and capable of semi-automated remote operation using an augmented-reality tablet device.
Emphasizing the size, strength and breadth of the Volvo Group, Volvo Construction Equipment will be joined at the show by sister companies Volvo Penta and Volvo Trucks. Volvo Penta is demonstrating its advanced engine solutions to meet the requirements of EU emissions legislation. Volvo Trucks is highlighting the smooth interaction between various Volvo FMX applications and the Volvo Construction Equipment machines. In addition, the latest Volvo FH features, the new Volvo FL with 4X4 and innovative technologies such as the VDS (Volvo Dynamic Steering) and the Volvo I-Shift transmission are on display.
A press conference and Q&A session on the companies’ new products and future plans will take place at the INTERMAT exhibitions ground at noon on Tuesday 21st April 2015.
Volvo Construction Equipment comes to INTERMAT Paris 2015 confident of its strong reputation for delivering outstanding customer solutions and support – and arguably the most efficient and productive range of machines and services in the industry.
