Volvo rubber pad – bolt on system increases excavator versatility

Volvo’s removable rubber pads permit the use of Volvo tracked excavators across job sites of various terrains by protecting the ground surface from damage, whenever required. The pads consist of a steel plate surrounded by a robust rubber-blend cushion, which together with the pad’s optimized shape helps to reduce wear, as well as vibration and noise. The pads fit perfectly to the track shoe and provide full surface protection.

Volvo’s rubber excavator pads form part of a bolt-on system that can be easily removed and replaced, providing a cost and time-effective way of adapting the excavator for different environments.

The Volvo rubber pad bolt-on system is available as an aftermarket spare part in all regions, as a kit (containing both the pad and track shoe) in EMEA, and as a factory-fit option in selected regions. 

The pads both increase the versatility of the machine and the service life of the excavator tracks for maximum profitability.
