Able to penetrate a variety of materials and built to withstand harsh conditions and the toughest construction jobs, the six breakers in Volvo Construction Equipment’s (Volvo CE) HB02 to HB08 series perfectly complement Volvo’s high-performing backhoe loaders, skid-steer loaders and compact excavators weighing under 10 tons.
Ranging in operating weight from 129 (114) kg to 577 (510) kg, Volvo HB02 to HB08 breakers are well-matched to Volvo machines and optimized to their specific weights and hydraulic technology. Tailored to Volvo quick couplers, the HB-Series makes attachment changes quick, simple and safe, allowing operators to switch between applications with the minimum effort.
A cushion damper reduces noise and vibration through the machine, for greater operator comfort and safety, as well as decreased risk of damage to the boom and arm. For even more flexibility and increased productivity with the HB08 breaker, the operator can adapt frequency to suit the application using dual-speed control. Anti-blank firing prevents the HB07 from continuing to strike once material has been completely penetrated.
The versatile HB-Series can also be adapted, depending on the application, with a variety of tools, including moils and pyramid moils, chisels, blunts, compacting plates and spades. The new hydraulic breakers can be purchased in a comprehensive all-in-one package — which includes hydraulic hoses, hydraulic quick couplings (in EMEA), breaker bracket and breaker tools — so that they can go to work right away, no matter whether they’re being attached to new machines or integrated into an existing fleet.
Like all Volvo attachments, these breakers are backed by Volvo CE’s extensive service network, providing the peace of mind that comes with an extensive, worldwide infrastructure of technicians, workshops and dealers.
The HB02-HB08 breakers will be selectively available in Region EMEA, India, Southeast Asia and Oceania.
