Tailor-made boom and arm

When you order a 7-meter straight boom you can be confident it comes ready to work. Features include X1 and X3 auxiliary piping, oil drain and quick fit line, water lines for the dust suppression system, as well as LED lights. Complemented with optional dedicated arm.

There is no need for a separate truck for pumping water – the integrated unique Volvo dust suppression system takes care of it.

Dust suppression system

Dust is captured by four nozzles on the arm, which are powered by a 30 liters per minute hydraulic pump to create a fine mist. There is a selectable Auto or Manual mode, and in Auto mode water is only sprayed when the attachment is operating. With a handy high-pressure water gun behind the cab, the system can also be used for machine cleaning.

The already industry leading Volvo Care Cab delivers even more safety and visibility thanks to a range of additional features.

High visibility, protected cab

When it comes to comfort, the Volvo Care Cab is already the best around and features including Frame-mounted Falling Object Guards, ISO 12117-2:2008 compliant Roll-Over Protection Structure, and EN356 standard P5A grade single-piece front and roof window boost safety and visibility even more. Cleaning is easy thanks to the wide opening front guard, and the standard washer and wiper on the front and roof windows adds further comfort and convenience for the operator.
